2004 Self Portrait

This is my summer art assignment that took me so long to do. I'm happy with this because I drew it from observation! Not from a photograph! Most of the few past self portraits that I've done were drawn from a photograph. Anyway, this piece was a real struggle for me, and I had a ridiculously tough time painting this. I wanted to tear it to pieces for a long while. But now I think I'm okay with it. My favorite parts are the plaid shirt ( I love plaid) and the pants. These are my pajamas. They are most comfy.

This also looks far better in real life - colors, among other things, look nicer and richer.
